    Sidney Himmel is a public markets expert and real estate investor who has worked as a research analyst, institutional equity salesman and equity and preferred share trader. He has also founded and co-founded numerous companies which he successfully took public, grew to market capitalizations in the hundreds of millions of dollars, and successfully exited. He is an active investor in public markets. His investment approaches combine fundamental research, macro approaches and technical analysis. He has written on finance, taxation, and investing including publishing research on fixed income markets for a national Canadian investment bank. He has also taught courses on taxation and finance at the University of Toronto. He holds degrees in Chemistry, Commerce and Finance, and worked as a Chartered Accountant earlier is his career.
